Provides review and analysis of CN and business entities financial statements, operational analysis of investment projects, provides overall support to Treasurer of CN in oversight responsibilities.
Assists in the preparation and analysis of monthly financial statements, budget reports and other financial projects as assigned. Develops and monitors a long-term financing plan for Cherokee Nation Capital Investment Projects. Coordinates flow of information between Financial Resources group and other group within Cherokee Nation and the business entities. Develops and monitors long-term Capital Investment budgets. Provides overall support to Treasurer of CN in oversight responsibilities. Other duties may be assigned.
Bachelor's degree from 4-year college or university in Accounting, Finance or closely related field; no substitutions.
An additional seven years related experience.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES
To perform this successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Accounting software; Database software; Project Management software; Spreadsheet software and Word EProcessing software. Prefer a Certified Public Accountant. Embraces and implements the Jobs/Language/Community Cherokee nation Strategy.
