Provides assistance in the preparation of contacts/agreements in accordance with applicable rules, regulations, and guidelines. Designs, develops, and maintains comprehensive databases for all types of contracts.
Enters requisitions into Enterprise Resource Planning system (Lawson). Reviews and prepares contracts/agreements such as leases, equipment, and facility use agreements, etc. in accordance with applicable rules, regulations, and guidelines. Prepares third party applications and drafts service agreements. Prepares and submits weekly contract/activity status reports. Assists with obtaining and preparing supporting documentation for contracts in accordance with applicable policy and procedures. Designs, develops, and maintains comprehensive databases for all types of contracts. Reviews contract authorization packets for accuracy and obtains signatures. Processes requests for information and assists other department personnel as requested. Performs weekly contract/grant follow-up. Assists with third party applications. Designs and develops contract files in accordance with internal office procedures.
No supervisory responsibility is required.
Associate's degree from 2-year college or technical school; or two years (60 credit hours) coursework from 4-year college or university; or three years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
An additional two years related experience is required.
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Accounting, Database, Design, Spreadsheet, and Word Processing software.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Must possess a valid driver's license with a driving history verified through a motor vehicle report that meets requirements for Cherokee Nation underwriting rating.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Must be knowledgeable in computer software including but not limited to database programs, spreadsheets, and ability to design professional reports.
